Biography

 

At a young age I knew I was highly interested in the education of children and being a mother intercting with different schools and teacher i have come to relize that there is a critical need for educating our children as early as possible and we here at Tyffani's Tiny Tots LLC intend to meet that need. Soon after having my grandchildren, I deciede to enroll in college and earned my degree in Business Management. I have now worked with children for the last 10 years first with my father and now on my own. During those years I have had the chance to work with a wide variety of children ages 1-17.  

 

In 2011 I opened up my childcare in my home and now to branch off to a facility, Tyffani's Tiny Tots LLC, which is dedicated to children ages 6 weeks -12 years. I feel that this age group needs an education the most. My philosophy has grown out of my experience as a teacher, mother and from my education. As a child care provider/teacher, I am actively involved in guiding, stimulating, and encouraging growth in young children. 

 

Through-out the years I have learned that Childcare needs to go beyond learning. Before a child can learn they must feel comfortable in a safe and healthy environment. When the child feels safe and healthy it positively fosters children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. I feel that a positive environment is needed in order for children to fully understand love, encouragement, and respect. Although it is important to teach them curriculum; we owe it to the children to understand them as an individuals.

 

Credentials and Training:

.Bachelor of Science in Business Management with some Early Childcare classes.

 

·Completed more than 40 Units in Early Childhood Education

 

·Currently attends courses in the Early Childcare Education Program at 

The University of Phoenix.

 

·Member of the MO State Family Childcare Association

 

·Attends State of MO Family Childcare Association annual workshops

 

·Pediatric CPR and First Aid Certified

 

·Earned several certificates from various workshops and conferences specifically for Childcare Providers
